Centerpoint won the last time they faced Kirby and things went their way on Thursday too. The Knights blew past the Trojans 21-11. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by eight runs or more this season.

Centerpoint is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.9 runs over those games. As for Kirby, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-6.

Looking ahead, Centerpoint will square off against Genoa Central at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The last three games the Dragons have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Kirby, they will challenge Caddo Hills at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
