The Bath Wildcats will take on the Parkway Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Bath took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Ottawa-Glandorf an 18-0 shutout. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
Mia Reindel made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, Addi Gibson was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Hailee Mauk, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs and one double.
Bath hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in ten consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Parkway challenged New Bremen on Tuesday. The Panthers blew past the Cardinals 20-5.
Parkway got a massive performance out of Hadley Stover, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Megan Nichols was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one double.
Parkway's victory bumped their record up to 19-3. As for Bath, their win bumped their record up to 13-8.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Thursday. Bath hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.5 home runs per game. However, it's not like Parkway struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.7 home runs.
