Staples-Motley (Staples, Minn.) 24-21 on Saturday.

Mike Beach, the Cardinals went into halftime with a 14-8 lead. The Rams scored the winning points with a Ziegler touchdown run that came in the third quarter.
Ziegler stood out for Roseau in the win. The senior quarterback threw two touchdowns and ran for one touchdown.
Jordan Wick played well for Staples-Motley. The senior tight end kicked three extra points.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 41-29 win for RHS.
The victory was a step in the right direction for the Rams, which was coming off a 52-42 defeat at the hands of Warroad in its previous game.
