While Overton's win against Cane Ridge wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bobcats skirted past the Ravens 3-1. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Ravens recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Cristian Estrada-Rivas tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over six innings pitched. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Ian Carie was excellent, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2. Johnson Bowen also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Overton's win bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Cane Ridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Looking ahead, Overton is taking a road trip to take on Mount Juliet Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cane Ridge, they will be playing at home against LaVergne at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
