After flying high against the Colony Titans last Monday, the Glendora Tartans came back down to earth. Glendora fell to the Bearcats 56-51. Glendora was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bearcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
Glendora's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ronnie Herrmann, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Herrmann hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Brianna Gomez was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Naomi Acuna was nothing short of spectacular for Bonita: she scored 22 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Acuna has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Serenity Henderson, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Glendora's defeat dropped their record down to 24-4. As for Bonita, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-9.
Glendora does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bonita also has no future games currently scheduled.
