Kokomo won the last time they faced Peru and Korbyn Hammel did his part to make sure it happened again. The Wildkats blew past the Tigers 72-34 on Friday with plenty of help from Hammel, who went 9-for-12 en route to 31 points. The contest was his third in a row with at least 17 points.

Kokomo has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 75.0 points this season. As for Peru, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Kokomo will venture away from home to face off against McCutcheon at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Peru, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Columbia City at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
