St. Peter fell to Sibley East 13-29 the last time the two teams met; this time around, they exacted some revenge. St. Peter were fully in charge on Thursday, breezing past Sibley East 48-0. St. Peter was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast. This was the first game for both teams, giving St. Peter a 1-0 record and starting Sibley East off at 0-1.
St. Peter are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Albert Lea next week at 7:00 PM. Sibley East will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva at 7:00 PM.
