Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Defeat Ends Kiana's Winning Streak

It was a good run, but Kiana unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the McQueen Qavviks. The Lynx were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Qavviks earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Kiana was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 26-24.

Kiana's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for McQueen, their win ended a six-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-8.

Coincidentally, Kiana and McQueen will both be playing Davis-Romoth the next time they take the court. The Qavviks will head out to face the Wolves at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday, while the Lynx will play them later in the day, at 8:30 p.m.
