Basic's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from JaMari Cottingham, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Cottingham a new career-high in blocks (four). Kenny Williams was another key player, going 8 of 16 en route to 18 points.
