Briana Hughes continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Jakayla Palmer was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with nine steals and six assists.
Southern Durham's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.1 points per game. As for South Granville, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.
