Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pinconning). They blew past the Harrison Hornets 18-1 on Thursday. The Spartans not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 10, 2024 (when they won 19-1).
Layla Foco made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Foco was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high.
