The Crow Creek Chieftains won the last time they faced the Lower Brule Sioux, and things went their way on Tuesday, too. Crow Creek claimed a resounding 90-55 win over Lower Brule. Winning may never get old, but the Chieftains sure are getting used to it with 14 in a row now.
Crow Creek's victory brought them up to 21-1. The loss dropped Lower Brule's record to 9-11.
Crow Creek will square off against St. Francis Indian Friday. St. Francis took a loss in their last game and are no doubt out to reverse Crow Creek's good fortune. As for Lower Brule, they will face off against McLaughlin on Monday. The Sioux aren't the favorite to win, but, of course, any team can defy the odds on the right day.
