In what's become a running theme this season, the Moore Catholic Mavericks gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 60-26 victory over Wagner on the road. Winning may never get old, but Moore Catholic sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Moore Catholic's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brianna Caliri, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Costanzo, who scored 15 points along with seven assists.
Moore Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Wagner, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moore Catholic's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on February 1st. St. Joseph-by-the-Sea has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,279 points over their last 18 matches. As for Wagner, they will head out on the road to take on the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Curtis will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 309th, while the Falcons are ranked 104th).
