Lighthouse Christian's Adam Taylor rumbled for the longest rushing play in 1A Sawtooth - West (8 Man) this season in his game against Carey last week. Taylor scampered for 72 yards on the play and finished with 245 on the day as his team beat the Panthers.
Lighthouse Christian extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Carey, 66-20. The victory was the 10th in a row for john van vliet's team.
Lighthouse Christian's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Lions feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Logan Bosma has thrown for 1,977 yards and 29 touchdowns this season, while Luc Fadness has 38 catches for 549 yards.
The Lions' Bosma is within 23 passing yards of surpassing 2,000 on the season coming into this week's game against Council.
Lighthouse Christian led the league in scoring this week after putting up 66 points on Lane Kirkland's team. Bosma threw for 274 yards and 5 touchdowns and ran for 64 yards in the win.
