The Pathways Eagles can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. Everything went their way against Varsity Opponent as Pathways made off with a 70-49 win. The win was just what Pathways needed coming off of a 73-47 loss in their prior matchup.
Branden Southall was his usual excellent self, shooting 6-for-7 from long range and dropping a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Steven Edwards, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Pathways has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season. As for Varsity Opponent, they are on a 17-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 391-1440-2.
Pathways didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-35 win vs. Joshua Christian Academy on the 10th. Varsity Opponent has also already played their next match, a 63-49 victory against Cristo Rey Research Triangle on the 9th.
