While Oxnard's win against Agoura wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Yellowjackets narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Chargers 49-46. The Yellowjackets haven't had any issues with the Chargers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Several Chargers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Christopher Martin, who posted ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lincoln Skope, who had 11 points.

Oxnard's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Agoura, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Looking ahead, Oxnard will take on Porterville in a tournament on Friday. As for Agoura, they will be playing in front of their home fans against El Camino Real at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Chargers will be up against the Royals' rather soft defense (which has allowed 51.4 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
