Happy Camp's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Luis Osorio, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jason Day, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why Dunsmuir lost, one person who can't be blamed is Michael Kellar. Despite the final result, he scored 29 points along with six rebounds and five steals. The contest was Kellar's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Desean Pistorius was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Happy Camp's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Dunsmuir, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Happy Camp will be home for the holidays to greet Hayfork at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dunsmuir, they will head out on the road to face off against Tulelake at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Tulelake is ranked 1356th, while Dunsmuir is ranked 1360th).
