North Raleigh Christian Academy can attribute much of their success to Tristan Thompson, who scored 8 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayse Buckley, who scored 10 points.
North Raleigh Christian Academy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Raleigh HomeSchool, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Raleigh Christian Academy will challenge John Paul II Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Raleigh HomeSchool, they will head out on the road to face off against Central Carolina Prep at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Central Carolina Prep's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six contests.
