Hanover led A-6 Southwest (6 Man) in scoring this week after putting up 56 points on Hanover.
Primero's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. James Lujan threw for 47 and one touchdown and K.C. Lee had 31 yards receiving. On the ground Jussiah Sanchez chipped in 85 yards. Josh Huey helped Primero's passing attack out by catching one ball for 16 yards.
The Bulldogs' Lujan and Huey have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Lujan has thrown for 798 yards this season, while Huey, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 18 catches for 349 yards. Edison's Gary Garnhart leads the league in rushing yards with 590.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Cotopaxi takes on second place Primero. Cotopaxi last week, while Primero defeated Colorado School for the Deaf & Blind.
The Eagles fell 36-33 to Hi-Plains in the closest game of the week.
