Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Nease Panthers walked away with it. They blew past the Senators 52-27. Nease has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 21 points or more this season.
Shruthika Kondabrolu was nothing short of spectacular: she almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine rebounds. It was the first time this season that she scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Abilgail Robinson, who scored seven points along with six steals and five rebounds.
The win (which was Nease's fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-10. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Fletcher, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-10.
Nease will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against the Sharks on February 7th. Fletcher does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
