The Cedar Vale/Dexter Spartans waltzed into their game Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Oswego 50-16 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Cedar Vale/Dexter has managed all season.
Cedar Vale/Dexter got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Riley Schalk out in front who scored 14 points along with six rebounds. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoe Davidson, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Cedar Vale/Dexter's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Oswego, their defeat was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-5-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
