Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Word of God Academy). They claimed a resounding 63-9 win over the Open Door Christian Academy Conquerors. The Force have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 26 points or more this season.

Tina Guardado continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 15-for-26 on her way to 30 points along with eight assists and seven steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Word of God Academy's points. Brynn Jordan was another key player, dropping a double-double with 16 points and ten boards.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Word of God Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Word of God Academy now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Open Door Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

As for Open Door Christian Academy, they will challenge Midstate Homeschool at 4:40 p.m. on Friday. The Storm's defense has only allowed 26.7 points per game this season, so the Conquerors' offense will have their work cut out for them.
