The HomeSchool Resource Center Patriots scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They really took it to Illinois C for the full four quarters, racking up a 84-26 victory on the road. HomeSchool Resource Center's victory was all the more impressive since Illinois C was averaging only 21.5 points allowed on the season.
HomeSchool Resource Center's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caleb Baldridge, who dropped a triple-double on 17 points, ten rebounds, and 12 assists. Baldridge has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Edrick Jefferson, who scored 28 points.
HomeSchool Resource Center's victory bumped their record up to 10-14. As for Illinois C, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
HomeSchool Resource Center's road trip will continue as they head out to face Families of Faith Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 18th. Families of Faith Christian Academy will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Illinois C does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
