Football Recap: Bells Piles Up the Points Against S & S Consolidated + How To Watch

Bells extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping them up to 4-5. They really took it to the S & S Consolidated Rams for the full four quarters, racking up a 50-14 win. The contest marked the Panthers' most dominant victory of the season.

Bells got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Easton Branam out in front who rushed for 98 yards and one TD on only eight carries, and also picked up 81 receiving yards and one touchdown. Branam's longest rush was for an impressive 52 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Another player making a difference was Easton Hartline, who rushed for 69 yards and one score on only six carries.

Bells' run defense was locked in: S & S Consolidated could only muster 3.3 yards per carry. While five picked up at least one total tackle, Branam stood above the rest. He rushed for 98 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries, and also picked up 81 receiving yards and one TD. Bells didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 9.2.

Bells' defense didn't let Hunter Courville, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for four sacks. Leading the way was Caden King with three. Luke McGehee was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making nine total tackles (2.0 for loss).

As for S & S Consolidated, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6. Their recent woes sure aren't a result of their performance when it comes to yards per carry: they averaged an imposing 5.6 yards per carry in those games compared to only 1.95 in the others.

S & S Consolidated's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Courville, who threw for 152 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also rushed for 41 yards. 84 of Courville's passing yards were hauled in by Joe Orr, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
