Football Recap: Edison Extends Winning Streak to Four

Edison entered their tilt with Lincoln on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 19-14 W against the Trojans. The Vikings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans, too.

Among those leading the charge was Ersel Ware, who rushed for 86 yards and one touchdown on only 12 carries.

Edison's defense stepped up as well, laying out Jaylen Vaughn four times. Leading the way was Francis Taamu with three sacks.

Although Lincoln took the loss, they still got scores from Taylor Orn and Je'Shanon Martin Jr..

Edison now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Lincoln, they dropped their record down to 3-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Edison is set to challenge their familiar foe St. Mary's at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Devin Rasmussen and Jaden Galvan. Meanwhile, Lincoln will face off against rival Tracy at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
