Miramonte extended their postseason success on Friday against Redwood. They put the hurt on the Giants with a sharp 20-0 victory. Considering the Matadors have won four matchups by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Miramonte found their leader in sophomore Lane Dalton, who threw for 197 yards on 16 of 29 attempts, and also punched in one rushing score.

The win made it two in a row for Miramonte and bumps their season record up to 7-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 27.5 points over those games. As for Redwood, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

Coming up, Miramonte will face off against Hayward at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th. The Matadors will need to watch out since the Farmers have now posted at least 31 points in their last five contests. Redwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
