The HomeSchool Resource Center Patriots's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They were the victim of a tough 67-43 loss at the hands of Victory Christian Academy. HomeSchool Resource Center has not had much luck with Victory Christian Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
HomeSchool Resource Center's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mason O'Neal, who scored 21 points. O'Neal scored a full 48.8% of HomeSchool Resource Center's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Caleb Baldridge, who scored 8 points along with 9 rebounds and 5 assists.
HomeSchool Resource Center has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Victory Christian Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. HomeSchool Resource Center has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Heritage Christian at 6:00 p.m. on December 11th. Hopefully Heritage Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Monday. As for Victory Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Calumet Christian at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
