Homer's rock-solid defense showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Friday. They never let the Redington Huskies get on the board and left with a 26-0 victory. Fans of the Mariners have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.
Homer can attribute much of their success to Nik Macauly, who rushed for 68 yards and a pair of TDs. The Mariners also got a significant boost from Cj Burns, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 85 yards.

Homer's win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. As for Redington, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
