Davie's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Mount Tabor Spartans with a sharp 18-2 victory. The War Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by eight runs or more this season.

With the win, Davie broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 12-5. As for Mount Tabor, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

Looking ahead, Davie will look to defend their home field on Friday against West Forsyth at 6:00 p.m. The Titans' pitching crew has only allowed 1.2 runs per game this season, so the War Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Mount Tabor, they will take on East Forsyth at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Spartans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season.
