Leading Sundance to victory were Lexie Marchant and Jaylin Mills. Marchant scored six points along with six rebounds and four steals, while Mills scored 18 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Mills hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games.
Sundance is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Wright, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sundance will take on Moorcroft at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Moorcroft is coming into the matchup with four straight losses at home, meaning Sundance will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory. As for Wright, they will head out on the road to take on Upton at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
