Ribault is 9-0 against Andrew Jackson since November of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Ribault Trojans will square off against the Andrew Jackson Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
With a playoff game on the line, Ribault rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They breezed by the Pirates on the road to the tune of 68-23. Ribault has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 25 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ribault to victory, but perhaps none more so than Destiny Donaldson, who scored 13 points along with five steals and two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Le'niyah Green, who scored 12 points along with five assists and three steals.
Even though Andrew Jackson has not done well against Raines recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Andrew Jackson walked away with a 52-45 win over Raines.
Ribault has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Andrew Jackson, their victory bumped their record up to 13-14.
Ribault barely slipped by Andrew Jackson in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, winning 1-0. Will Ribault repeat their success, or does Andrew Jackson have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
