Despite the loss, Masconomet Regional had strong showings from Nora Sterner, who had seven digs and five aces, and Lidia Benedetto, who had 11 digs. Sterner is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last six games she's played.
Canton's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Masconomet Regional, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-9.
Canton has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Wakefield Memorial on the 5th. Masconomet Regional does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
