With a playoff win on the line, North Davidson rose to the challenge on Friday. They claimed a resounding 46-8 victory over the North Henderson Knights. The result was nothing new for the Black Knights, who have now won five matchups by 28 points or more so far this season.

Despite the loss, North Henderson saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Parker Willis rushed for 130 yards. Willis is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 130 every time he's taken the field this season.

North Davidson is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.8 points on average over those games. As for North Henderson, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

Looking ahead, North Davidson will take on Jay M. Robinson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Black Knights will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least 31 points in their last five contests. North Henderson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
