Jackson County Central is 9-1 against Blue Earth since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Huskies will welcome the Bucs at 5:30 p.m. Blue Earth took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Jackson County Central, who comes in off a win.
Jackson County Central took a 16-run loss the last time they faced off against Redwood Valley, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Huskies sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over the Cardinals on Friday.

Talan Holm spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on six hits and racked up seven Ks. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Jackson County Central is 3-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 3-4 otherwise.
At the plate, Jackson County Central let Ben Gallagher and Casey Storm run wild. Gallagher got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one double, while Storm went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs. Those two stolen bases gave Storm a new career-high. Ryan Fricke was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.
Meanwhile, Blue Earth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 26th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Windom, falling 14-4.
Blue Earth saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Gambell, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that Gambell has brought in this season. Another was Logan Rademaker, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
Blue Earth's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Jackson County Central, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Jackson County Central got the 'W' in their previous meeting on April 7th against Blue Earth by a conclusive 22-0 score. Do the Huskies have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bucs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
