Jordan-Matthews is 2-8 against Eastern Randolph since December of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the Jordan-Matthews Jets will jump right back in to play the Eastern Randolph Wildcats at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Randolph took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Jordan-Matthews, who comes in off a win.
On Thursday, Jordan-Matthews beat Western Harnett 46-36. The win was just what Jordan-Matthews needed coming off of a 71-34 defeat in their prior matchup.
Lia Carter was her usual excellent self, scoring 17 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Jordan-Matthews' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jada Scott, who scored eight points.
Meanwhile, Eastern Randolph's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their seventh straight loss. They were dealt a 61-18 loss at the hands of Overhills.
Jordan-Matthews is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Eastern Randolph, they have fallen quite a ways from their 19-8 record last season and are now at 1-9.
Jordan-Matthews took a serious blow against Eastern Randolph in their previous matchup back in January, falling 58-11. Thankfully for Jordan-Matthews, Brecken Snotherly (who scored 23 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
