Purnell Swett's win came from a few key players that Cape Fear will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kaleb Locklear, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in field goal percentage (55%). Jeremiah Barnes was another key player, shooting 40% from the field on his way to 18 points and three steals.

This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: Cape Fear just can't miss this season, having nailed 51.6% of their field goals per game. It's a different story for Purnell Swett, though, as they've only made 34.1% of their shots this season. Given Cape Fear's sizable advantage in that area, the Rams will need to find a way to close that gap.
Cape Fear didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Purnell Swett when the teams last played back in January of 2025, but they still walked away with a 70-65 win. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Rams' Collin Sampson, who went 9-for-15 to rack up 30 points and five boards. Now that he won't be playing on Friday, will it be easier for the Colts to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
