ThunderRidge extended their losing streak to four on Monday, dropping them down to 7-10. They lost 11-2 to the Regis Jesuit Raiders. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Grizzlies couldn't push the score so high this time.
ThunderRidge got a good showing from Grant Becnel, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Becnel has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.
At the plate, Tanner Rhodes made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two RBI.
As for Regis Jesuit, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-3. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by six runs or more this season.
On Regis Jesuit's side, Michael Kroll looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, Kroll posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2025.
On the hitting side, Regis Jesuit let Chase Massey and Greyson Glasheen run wild. Massey went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base, while Glasheen went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most RBI Glasheen has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Carter Rathbun, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. ThunderRidge will face off against Legend at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Grizzlies' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Titans have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season. As for Regis Jesuit, they will be playing at home against Ponderosa at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The last three games the Mustangs have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
