Red Bluff and Enterprise are an even 4-4 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. The Spartans will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Hornets at 7:00 p.m. Red Bluff's defense has only allowed 12.3 points per game this season, so Enterprise's offense will have their work cut out for them.
Red Bluff is headed into the contest having just suffered their closest loss since October 18, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of Foothill by a score of 21-19. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Mason Lyford, who rushed for 50 yards and one touchdown. He was even better on defense, making 15 total tackles (4.0 for loss) and defending one pass. Jackie Graves also helped out with an impressive 90 receiving yards.
Even if they lost, Red Bluff's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Bryce Owens was especially locked on to Foothill's QB and sacked him twice. Red Bluff got some further help from Jaret Bridwell: he made 15 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Enterprise, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They secured a 34-28 W over Shasta on Friday. The matchup marked the Hornets' most dominant victory of the season.
Red Bluff better focus on containing Koby Johnson and Izaiah Mikell as the pair were huge in Enterprise's win. Johnson gained 315 total yards and four touchdowns, while Mikell rushed for 106 yards and one score on only 12 carries. Johnson's longest rush was for an incredible 73 yards.
Enterprise was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 347 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 153 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
Enterprise's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Red Bluff, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Red Bluff has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 159.3 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Enterprise struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 242.9 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Everything came up roses for Red Bluff against Enterprise in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 41-7 victory. Do the Spartans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hornets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
