Welch had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They were completely outmatched, falling 6-62 to Watts. Welch was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Watts apparently hadn't forgotten their loss from the last time the teams met up. The game leaves both teams with the exact same record at 0-0.
Next week, Welch take on South Coffeyville at 7:30 PM. Watts are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Wilson-Henryetta next week at 7:00 PM.
