Murray Posts Huge Game in 63-20 Win
Starting off the list is Bellville's Dd Murray, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Murray rushed for 192 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 115 rushing yards.
Murray must have La Grange's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in August of 2023 (the last time Murray saw the Leopards), he rushed for 151 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries.

Madisonville was led to victory by Tristan Whaley, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Whaley picked up 131 receiving yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 59 yards and a touchdown. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 82 yards.
On the season, Whaley has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 37.1 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had three receiving touchdowns.

Ty Williams' Big Game Leads Madisonville over Caldwell
Another Madisonville player making an appearance on this list is Ty Williams. He threw for 222 yards and four touchdowns on perfect 9-for-9 passing.
Caldwell had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Williams it was a similar story. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Williams saw the Hornets), he threw for 163 yards and three touchdowns on perfect 7-for-7 passing, and also rushed for 43 yards.

Bellville was led to victory by D'Ante Keys, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Keys wasn't messing around, picking up two sacks, making 18 total tackles, and defending a pass. The contest was his seventh straight with five or more total tackles. He is becoming a predictor of Bellville's success: when he posts at least two sacks the team is 3-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).
On the season, Keys has averaged 9.1 total tackles per game and for the season has 5.5 sacks. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 2.14 total tackles per game.
