The River View Raiders and the Tygarts Valley Bulldogs will round out the year against one another at at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. River View is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.7 points per game this season.
River View is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Cameron just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 57-43 bruising from the Dragons. The matchup marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the defeat, River View saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Chasity Kennedy went 8 of 14 en route to 21 points along with six boards and five blocks. Kennedy is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 11 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Lilly Perkins, who posted eight points and 12 rebounds.
Even though they lost, River View smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in six consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tygarts Valley). They strolled past Braxton County with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 56-41. The win was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on three straight.
River View better focus on containing Sarah Defibaugh and Summer Lewis-Smith as the pair were huge in Tygarts Valley's win. Defibaugh went 6 of 12 on her way to 20 points and three steals, while Lewis-Smith dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds. With that strong performance, Defibaugh is now averaging an impressive 15.5 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Swecker, who put up six points and five assists.
Tygarts Valley's record now sits at 3-1. As for River View, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: River View has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 41.5 boards per game. However, it's not like Tygarts Valley struggles in that department as they've been averaging 30.8 rebounds.
