With a playoff win on the line, McClave rose to the challenge on Saturday. They blew past the Norwood Mavericks 44-14. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by 25 points or more this season.

McClave didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Mason Barr and Kielan Mallard. Barr's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 115 rushing yards.

McClave's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-0. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.5 points over those games. As for Norwood, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-3.

McClave has already played their next matchup, a 50-8 loss against Haxtun on the 22nd. Norwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
