Jaysis Villegas posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 172 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per carry. He is becoming a predictor of Center's success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is 2-1 (and 1-3 when he doesn't).

Looking ahead, Villegas and Center will head out to square off against Brownsboro at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Roughriders are a perfect 5-0 against the Bears going back to October of 2018, a lead they'll look to extend.
