After flying high against the Linden Patriots last Monday, the Keith Bears came back down to earth. Keith was just a bucket shy of victory on Wednesday and fell 73-72 to Hatch. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Despite the loss, Keith still got an impressive performance from Tommy Tisdale III, who scored 39 points. Tisdale III has been hot recently, having posted 24 or more points the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Miles Hannah, who scored 11 points.
Keith's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-10. As for Hatch, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-12.
Keith will head out on the road to challenge Notasulga at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Keith's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 20 matches. Hatch does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
