The Bakersfield Christian Eagles can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent game on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 65-35 win over Ridgeview on the road. The win was familiar territory for Bakersfield Christian who now have nine in a row.
Sara Shein was her usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Alexis Bila was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six steals.
Ridgeview's loss came despite strong showings from Aubrey Aldan and Kenadi Walton. Aldan scored nine points along with eight rebounds, while Walton scored nine points along with two blocks. Another player making a difference was Alyse Brooks, who scored four points along with eight rebounds and two blocks.
Bakersfield Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. As for Ridgeview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-11.
Bakersfield Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Rams at 5:45 p.m. on February 2nd. Garces Memorial has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 28. As for Ridgeview, they will be playing at home against the Falcons at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Independence focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Wednesday.
