Three teams in the MaxPreps Top 25 national high school boys basketball rankings made a major splash with big wins over the weekend as No. 13 St. Frances Academy (Baltimore), No. 14 Long Island Lutheran (Brookville, N.Y.) and No. 22 Poly (Baltimore) all downed ranked opponents.
No. 2 Grayson also benefited from a big win, capturing the Region 8-7A championship with a win over rival Shiloh (Snellville, Ga.).
Headlining matchups this week include No. 14 Long Island Lutheran hosting Patrick School (Hillside, N.J.), No. 6 Centennial (Corona, Calif.) vs. Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.), No. 16 Duncanville (Texas) at Richardson (Texas) and No. 20 Sierra Canyon vs. St. John Bosco. No. 3 DeMatha faces No. 19 Paul VI on Sunday.

1. (Last week 1) Montverde Academy (Montverde, Fla.), 25-0
Regular season complete. The Eagles are expected to be the top seed in GEICO Nationals.
Defeated Shiloh (Snellville, Ga.) for the third time, 75-64, behind 22 points from USF signee Caleb Murphy
. The Rams enter state tournament play as favorites to capture the AAAAAAA title, hosting Discovery (Lawrenceville) in their Friday opener.
Moved to 15-0 in conference play after picking up three wins over WCAC opponents last week. The Stags have five conference games remaining, beginning with a showdown against St. John's (Washington, D.C.) on Tuesday.
Three regular season games remain before the Cavaliers begin their quest for
a fourth consecutive state title.
5. (6) Wasatch Academy (Mt. Pleasant, Utah), 27-2
Wrapped up an impressive regular season with two blowout wins over local competition. The Tigers should receive a favorable seed at GEICO Nationals.
6. (7) Centennial (Corona, Calif.), 26-2
Postseason pool play begins with Mater Dei (Santa Ana) on Feb. 14, Harvard Westlake (Studio City) on Feb. 18 and Rancho Christian (Temecula) on Feb. 21 in CIF Southern Section Open Division.
After a rough start to the year, the Red Hawks have reeled off 14 consecutive wins.

Hold a narrow edge over Oak Hill Academy with signature wins over No. 3 DeMatha, No. 12 La
Lumiere, No. 14 St. Frances Academy and No. 25 Westlake.
10. (2) Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.), 33-3
After appearing to hit their midseason stride, the Warriors have lost two of their last four games including a 80-61 blowout loss against No. 14 St. Frances Academy (Baltimore) over the weekend.
The Crew picked up another solid win over the weekend, knocking off AZ Compass Prep (Chandler, Ariz.) 75-67 in overtime behind 39 points from National Player of the Year contender Jalen Green
The Lakers are on
the bubble of earning their fifth consecutive GEICO Nationals invite with three games remaining in regular season play.
Panthers are the biggest mover after the win over previous No. 2 Oak Hill Academy at the East Coast Bump. St. Frances has an opportunity to avenge its only conference loss this week in a Valentine's Day showdown with Mount St. Joseph (Baltimore).
Notched a signature victory over previous No. 16 Sierra Canyon 86-74 at the Metro Classic over the weekend. The Crusaders have an opportunity to bolster their national resume hosting Patrick School (Hillside, N.J.) on Feb. 13.
Secured a quality in-state 70-53 win over Walker. The Hornets have four regular season games before beginning the quest for a fourth consecutive state championship.
16. (17) Duncanville (Texas), 24-2
defending UIL Class 6A champions have three games remaining before
postseason play. The Panthers have a challenging rematch Feb. 14 against Richardson. They won their previous meeting 70-68 in overtime.
Gaels begin quest for a ninth consecutive state title, opening postseason play on Friday against the winner of Desert Oasis (Las Vegas) and Basic (Henderson).
