The Patagonia Lobos's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 44-31 victory over Valley Union. For Patagonia, this counts as revenge for the 54-44 defeat Valley Union walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2023.
Patagonia's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Leo Nunez led the charge by scoring 12 points along with nine rebounds and five steals. Diego Carranza was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with eight rebounds and six steals.
Patagonia's win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Valley Union, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Duncan the next time they take the court. Patagonia will host Duncan at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Valley Union will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
