Goshen won the last time they faced Georgetown and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Warriors were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the G-Men. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won five contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Makayla Campbell made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits (and only one walk). Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Goshen will venture away from home to square off against Western Brown at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Warriors 3.9, the Broncos 2.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Georgetown, they are taking a road trip to take on East Clinton at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
