After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Corner, Briarwood Christian was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 23-7 win over the John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Cavaliers: they've now won five in a row.

The win got Briarwood Christian back to even at 4-4. As for John Carroll Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.
