The Ripon Christian Knights won against the Hilmar Yellowjackets last Thursday with 37 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Ripon Christian was the clear victor by a 37-17 margin over Hilmar. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Ripon Christian.
Maddie Yonker continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last eight games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Reagan Van der hoek, who scored four points along with 16 rebounds.
Despite the loss, Hilmar still got an impressive performance from Alicia Souza, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds and four steals. Camryn Mattos was another key contributor, scoring five points along with two steals.
Ripon Christian's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Hilmar, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-12.
Ripon Christian will head out on the road to challenge Riverbank at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverbank is coming into the matchup with three straight losses at home, so Ripon Christian is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum. Hilmar will take on Livingston at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Livingston comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 23 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
